Consultations

The following guideline for consultations is intended for students participating in my courses and other learners in my professional trainings. Former students and supervisees can also come to a consultation for free.

Written communication

The primary channel for student written communication is email; send your message to my TalTech email. If you have not received a response within 48 hours, please follow up and ensure that I received your email. Email communication is meant for notifications and information exchange; if you wish to discuss something, please schedule a consultation. I do not regularly monitor text messages over MS Teams, Skype, or social media, so these will go unanswered.

Quick questions

If you need a response on the same day, call me by phone or via an online call. I am happy to receive unscheduled calls. You can find my phone number on the contact page.

1:1 Consultations

Consultations are only conducted through direct interaction, either in person or via online call. Consultations in written form, like over email are not possible.

In-Person consultations

You can find me in office SOC353 or in the Business AI Lab SOC306. Consultations are available in 30-minute slots.
Appointments must be booked via the Outlook booking module HERE. Slots are available up to 90 days in advance. If you do not see any available slots, try logging in as a guest.

Online consultations

You may call me via MS Teams or Google Meet at any time; no prior appointment is necessary, no prior permission is necessary—just call. If I do not answer and I am busy, please try again later. Calls are welcome daily until 8 PM, including weekends. In general, advance scheduling is only available for in-person consultations. No appointments are made for online consultations.
For online calls, see my contact info on contact page. These platforms are active when I am at my computer. By prior notice, Slack can also be used.
